Post Holiday Blues
Have you noticed your pet doing anything strange recently?
As we move towards the end of February, everyone is well and truly back in the routine of work and school. But with all the hustle and bustle of getting back into the swing of things, often your pet can be forgotten. Imagine, after spending all day every day with your favourite people in the world, all of a sudden you’re left to fend for yourself between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
Some pets definitely don’t like this change of routine and can become stressed or even depressed when there’s no one home. They will often try to let you know they’re not happy with the new routine by excessively barking and whining, clawing at doors, windows, or fences to get out, destructively chewing, and even going to the bathroom in the house.
People often ask us if there’s anything they can do and so we asked one of the trainers at K9 coach to give you some tips on how to make sure your beloved pooch feels loved again. Click here to see the presentation.
We also can provide lots of advice and help too. Please email us if you would like help.
