PVH weekly round up – 28/4/13
We are starting a regular weekly blog post about the comings and goings at Prahran Vet Hospital. Please feel free to leave a comment here or on facebook to let us know if there’s something you would like to know, something you’ve enjoyed or something we could do better.
This has been an exciting week with the final stage of our ASAVA accreditation to become a Hospital of Excellence taking place – The Inspection! We scrubbed the hospital from top to bottom to make sure we made the best impression possible. Fingers crossed we passed! Watch this space.
In other news we had puppy school graduation on Monday, congratulations to all our new puppies Jimmi, Hamish, Harriet, Barry, Miggy, Charlie, Mr Wilks, Gus and Soda. To see a photo of them all click here. We look forward to seeing all the new puppies this week!
If you have been catching up with us on facebook, you may have seen a picture of Sadie the 6 month old Burmese kitten who has been staying with us for a few days while she is recovering from her spey procedure. She has been bringing a smile to all our faces (especially nurse Katie and Vet Diana) as she is just so full of love, cuddles and purrs! We will definitely miss her when she goes home next week.
If you haven’t checked out our competition to win 2 tickets to the dog lovers show this weekend, like our facebook page!
Anzac Day on Thursday provided us a reminder of all those who have served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. At Prahran Vet we remembered those dogs who have nobly served our country. For more information about the current dogs at war click here
And one last thing, how could we mention ANZAC day without a reference to the brilliant Essendon win (there happen to be several Collingwood supporters at PVH), the footy tipping competition is hotting up!
